Floor Tech: This is a three day course held in Dalton, Georgia or Cypress, California. It touches on all aspects of the flooring industry. This is appropriate for the individual who has been in the industry for years and is equally beneficial for the individual who is just getting started in the industry. Participants are given many opportunities to share information and experiences with one another, adding to the wealth of information gained from Shaw instructors. The curriculum is a good mix of class discussion, group activities and mill tours.

Floor Tech OTR:  Floor Tech OTR (On the Road) is a comprehensive two-day seminar covering all aspects of the flooring industry in order to enhance your ability to serve customers and build your flooring businesses. Hosted by the Aligned Regional Manager, you will enjoy sessions on carpet manufacturing, improving the sales process, estimating and installation, flooring product knowledge and product maintenance.

Retail S.A.L.T.: Shaw Academy for Leadership Training Shaw Industries offers an in-depth training experience for store owners and top level store managers. The goal of the program is to focus on true leadership – developing skills that will help you and your people succeed. S.A.L.T. is unique because it focuses on self-evaluation and growth. Many managers and owners today simply grew into their current role, but they have never had the opportunity to get in depth training on how to lead and succeed in this industry. The 3-day experience will allow you to grow personally and professionally. The training will take place in North Georgia, the hub of the floor covering industry. It will include DISC profiling, 360 feedback, experiential training techniques, simulations, and business evaluation.
